Dear patient:

It is our pleasure to announce that we will be opening the office during the first week of July. Our team is working very hard in preparation for our reopening and you should expect member of our team to call you within a week to schedule your next visit with us.

Life has been anything but normal this spring, and we sincerely hope you and your family are in good health. The Ministry of Health has now lifted the restrictions placed in March, and while many things have changed since then, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your health and safety.

Our office has always followed the strictest of infection control standards and, in order to keep us all protected during this pandemic, and in the future, we have updated our protocols accordingly. When we see you at your next appointment, things will be a little bit different.

- We will ask screening questions when confirming your appointment over the phone, and you will be asked those same question again when you arrive for your visit.

- You will be asked to wait in your car and call us when you arrive. We will call you back to let you know when you can enter the office.

- We will have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the clinic, and will provide you with a mask if you do not already have one, when you enter the office. Then you will be asked to use a special mouth-rinse to afford even more protection.

- Our waiting room will most often no longer be utilized, but if so, it has been reconfigured for social distancing, with sterilizable Furniture. We are no longer able offer coffee, water, magazines or children toys.

- Appointments will be spaced out to allow for physical distancing between patients.

- Clinical treatment rooms are now completely isolated with surgical air purification over and above what we already had in place in the common areas before.

- You may be surprised when you see us wearing more protective gear-such as masks, face shields, and sometimes special isolation gowns.

- There are many other behind the scenes protocols we have put into place, over and above the guidelines, and the many safety and infection control procedures we already strictly adhered to. We are happy to tell you about them if you want more details.

Rest assured all these procedures are designed to create the safest environment for you, our other patients, and our entire team.
